Skill Level: Learn to Sew, ages 18 and up.
Zippers aren't intimidating! These useful pouches can hold just about anything! They make perfect gifts and can be made in different sizes. You will complete one pouch in class and you will learn how to make adjustments to the size for your future projects. This class is perfect for first-time sewists and for beginners who want to gain confidence using our BERNINA sewing machines.
• 2 fat quarters of quilting-weight cotton (18" x 22" rectangle) - one will be for the outside of the pouch, the other will be for the lining
• 1/2 yard Pellon 931 fusible interfacing (or similar mid-weight fusible interfacing)
• Coordinating or contrasting thread (the thread will show when sewing in the zipper)
• 14" plastic teeth zipper (not invisible)
*Time only allows for the making of one pouch. If you are interested in making more than one you are welcome to purchase more fat quarters, interfacing and zippers. The printed instructions, which will be yours to take home includes dimensions for the other sizes.
