Learn to Sew: Pillowcase, Tuesday, June 26, 6-9 pm
Skill Level: Learn to Sew, ages 18 and up
Brighten up your bed with new pillowcases or stitch one up for someone special! You'll learn how to sew French seams, flat piping, and how to use the "burrito technique" to create a beautiful and professional looking pillowcase. This class is perfect for first-time sewists and for beginners who want to gain confidence using our BERNINA sewing machines.
Please note: You will only have time to make one pillowcase during class-time, but you will leave with the skills to make as many pillowcases as you want on your own time!
• Main Fabric: 1 1/8th yard quilting-weight cotton Please select a Non-directional print.
• Contrast Piping: 1/8th yard quilting-weight cotton
• Coordinating all-purpose thread to match your main fabric (such as Mettler Metrosene Plus.)
