Modern Domestic Patchwork Society Annual Membership, 2018, (Mostly) Second Wednesday monthly, 10:00 - 12:30
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner Patchwork Society is a monthly club that provides community, modern design inspiration, and loads of new quilting techniques. At each two-hour monthly meeting you will build skills while we guide you through trying new tools and tricks.
Patchwork Society is a lecture/demo class with the opportunity to try the techniques that are presented each month during the meeting. Each meeting will also include show-and-tell, time to sew, and the chance to make like-minded friends!
For 2018 Patchwork Society, we are excited to work from the book ‘Make Your Own Medallion’ by Erin Burke Harris. Starting from the center block. we will mix and match blocks and borders to build your own unique medallion quilt from the center out. Each month will feature a lively demo and over the course of the year we will review assembling, finishing, and quilting techniques. By the end of the year you will have a unique quilt to cherish for years to come!
