Learn to sew on your personal sewing machine! Sew Basic, BYOM (Bring your own machine!) is the perfect class for the new sewist who just got a sewing machine, someone who hasn’t sewn in years and wants to get reacquainted with their sewing machine, or for someone who is interested in learning more about a machine that is new to them.
In this 2-1/2 hour class you will learn to thread your machine, wind a bobbin, select and modify stitches, tips for basic care of your machine, and more! Our goal is to get you sewing and ready to tackle those dream projects!
All students enrolled in this class recieve $20 off machine service. Please stop in 2 weeks prior to class and get a free diagnostic with our service department.
• Your Sewing Machine
• Foot Control/Pedal
• Power cord (this may be a part of your foot control/pedal)
• Presser Feet: bring them all!
• An empty bobbin
• Bobbin Case (if applicable)
• Instruction Manual (if you have it)
• a new spool of thread
