Akoma by Rashida Coleman-Hale Symbolic Teal Rayon
Akoma is inspired by the Adinkra symbols originally created by the Akan of Ghana and the Gyaman of Cote d’Ivoire in West Africa. Akoma is a heart shaped symbol meaning patience and tolerance. The Adinkra symbols express various themes that relate to their history, beliefs and philosophy. Akoma is full of rich saturated colors and lots of metallic gold ink, and it includes two beautiful rayons.
