Learn how to tackle curves! CLAVA by Miss Make is a celestial-inspired quilt reminiscent of moon phases, with a repeated sequence of differently sized crescent shapes creating lots of striking movement. You will get lots of practice sewing curves, and by the end you'll feel like a pro!

In this virtual class we will dive into basic cutting techniques, piecing, and how to create accurate and consistent 1/4" seam allowances. The main goal of this course is to complete the top of your quilt with class time and weekly homework. We will discuss how to baste, quilt, and bind your quilt, however these steps will not be completed in class.

What is a Beginner-level class at Modern Domestic? You’ve taken a class or two and are starting to get comfortable with the basics. You know what a seam allowance is, you’ve sewn a little on your own, but you still need a little help with remembering how to thread the machine and wind a bobbin. This skill level is not for people who have never used a sewing machine before.

*72 hour class cancelation required for refund. This class requires a working sewing machine and access to the internet. No refunds will be given due to sewing machine or connectivity issues.
