The Remy Raglan by Sew House Seven is a simple, timeless top. It features a relaxed fit at the bust and waist with three sleeve choices and an optional keyhole button closure. In this class, you’ll learn to sew french seams, a bias neck facing and two gathering stitch techniques.

Supply List:

• Pattern Required: Remy Raglan by Sew House Seven 
• Fabric required for size desired (recommend light to medium weight woven fabric, ie. linen, linen/rayon, cotton voile, cotton gauze)
• Swedish Tracing Paper
• 1 Spool Mettler Metrosene All Purpose Thread
• One Button (approx. 20mm)

Please purchase supplies in advance of your class. Make sure to pre-wash your fabric in advance of class. This prevents possible fabric shrinkage that could otherwise make your finished garment too small.

What is an Advanced Beginner Level Class at Modern Domestic?
You have a good handle on the basics and are ready to dip your toe into more challenging waters. You’re still fairly new to sewing from patterns and could use help with how to manipulate the pattern to get a better fit. You want to add some new skills to your repertoire (invisible zippers, setting-in sleeves, sewing with a serger, etc.). Classes generally require homework.

COVID-19 Policy - Proof of vaccination is required for class attendees. Please show your vaccination card upon arrival for class & studio rental. You do not need to wear a mask if you have been fully vaccinated and boosted. If you cannot provide proof of vaccine you are required to wear a mask fully covering your nose and mouth at all times while in the Modern Domestic classroom.

Class Cancellation Policy - Full payment is due to secure your spot upon signing up for a class. 100% of class fee is refundable or transferable to another class if cancellation is done at least 72 hours before class. There is NO REFUND NOR TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO ANOTHER CLASS IF WE RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF YOUR INABILITY TO ATTEND CLASS WITH LESS THAN 72 HOURS NOTICE. Sorry, we are not able to make exceptions. This ensures the teachers are compensated for their time, and other students waiting for spots in full classes are not missing class opportunities due to late cancellations. No-shows forfeit any refund or exchange.
