CLASS FULL! Learn to Sew: Canvas Tote, Saturday, December 9th, 4:30pm-7:30pm

Skill Level: Learn to Sew*, ages 15 and up

Class Length: 1 session, 3 hours

Make this fun, useful tote bag out of your favorite fabrics! You will learn easy techniques to cut out your fabric pieces, sew a pocket, add shape at the bottom, and attach the straps. This class is perfect for first-time sewists and beginners who have sewn a little but want to gain confidence using our BERNINA sewing machines.

Supply List:

- 1 yard fabric: Canvas or Twill 

- 2 yards of 1” or 1-1/4” Cotton Webbing

- 1 spool of Mettler Metrosene All-Purpose Polyester Thread (Color match with exterior fabric is recommended)

Class supplies are available for purchase at Modern Domestic. Be prepared - purchase your supplies online or in person!  To purchase supplies online and pick up the day of your class, just select NE Alberta Store for pick-up. To purchase supplies in store, we recommend allowing at least 45 minutes to shop. Please note that our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. 

Skill Level: Learn to Sew - You have never touched a sewing machine before or it has been years since you have. You know very little to nothing about sewing but you are eager to get started.
