Sew a decorative evergreen tree pillow with Modern Domestic! In this Learn to Sew class we will review sewing machine basics and skills like marking and cutting fabric, sewing and turning sharp corners, and decorative topstitching. At the end of our class you will have a custom 24" pillow to add to your winter decor!

Be prepared - purchase your supplies online or in person before your class begins! Class supplies are available for purchase at Modern Domestic. Please note that our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm & Sunday, 11am-4pm. Class supplies cannot be purchased when our shop is closed. 

To purchase supplies in store, we recommend allowing at least 45 minutes to shop. If purchasing materials online, purchase supplies at least two days in advance to allow for prepping. All class supplies purchased at Modern Domestic get a 10% discount - please inquire for the code. 

Supply List:

- 1 yard of solid medium to heavyweight fabric, such as Canvas or Twill

- 1 spool of Mettler Metrosene All-Purpose Polyester Thread matched to main fabric

- 2-4 small spools of Mettler Metrosene All-Purpose Polyester Thread in a variety of colors for decorative topstitching

- 1 pack of Clover Gold Eye Embroidery Needles

- 1 20oz bag of polyester fiberfill stuffing 

Skill Level: Learn to Sew - You have never touched a sewing machine before or it has been years since you have. You know very little to nothing about sewing but you are eager to get started.

Class Cancellation Policy: A cancellation more than 72 hours before a class start date receives a full refund or credit. A cancellation within 72 hours is non-refundable. No-shows forfeit any refund or exchange. We hold this class cancellation policy to ensure our teachers are compensated for their time, and other students waiting for spots in full classes are not missing class opportunities due to late cancellations.  Thank you for your understanding.
