Learn to sew this beautiful craft tool bag! It's perfect for organizing and carrying around your sewing, knitting or hand embroidery projects. 

In this class, you'll learn how to thread and sew on our Bernina machines, install a bag lining, sew topstitch detail and how to sew on a curve. This is a wonderful class that teaches you all the basics needed to complete a new to sewing project.

Be prepared - purchase your supplies online or in person before class begins! Class supplies are available for purchase at Modern Domestic. Please note that our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. Class supplies cannot be purchased when our shop is closed. 

To purchase supplies in store, we recommend allowing at least 45 minutes to shop. Our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. If purchasing materials online, purchase supplies at least two days in advance to allow for prepping. All class supplies purchased at Modern Domestic get a 10% discount - please inquire for the code. 

Supply List:

- Main Fabric: 1/4 yd light to mid-weight canvas fabric

- Pocket Fabric: 1 or 2 Fat Quarters or 1/4 yd light to mid-weight woven fabric

- Lining Fabric: 1 Fat Quarter or 1/4 yd light to mid-weight woven fabric

- 1/2 yd of Craft 808 Fusible Interfacing

- One spool of Mettler Metrosene All-Purpose Polyester Thread

- Wash Away Wonder Tape

- 1/2 yd of webbing strap

*Skill Level: Learn to Sew - You have never touched a sewing machine before or it has been years since you have. You know very little to nothing about sewing but you are eager to get started.
