CLASS FULL! Garment Lab: Choose Your Own Adventure, Tuesdays, May 7th, 14th, & 21st, 6pm-9pm

Skill Level: All Levels: Advanced Beginner +, ages 15 and up

Lab Sessions: 3 sessions, 3 hr each session

Come with a project of your choice (at any point in the process) and a sense of humor, and you’ll receive the customized help to make your project become a reality! This lab is great for all levels, focusing on what you want to learn—garment fitting, finishing, craft sewing, and new techniques. New projects are not required, altering existing clothes is welcome!

*If making a garment, make sure to pre-wash your fabric in advance of class. This prevents possible fabric shrinkage that could otherwise make your finished garment too small.

Be prepared - purchase your supplies online or in person before class begins! Class supplies are available for purchase at Modern Domestic. To purchase supplies online and pick up the day of your class, just select NE Alberta Store for pick-up. To purchase supplies in store, we recommend allowing at least 45 minutes to shop. Please note that our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. 

Modern Domestic Labs provide technique instruction within an open sew group format. You're interested in sewing in a group setting and prefer to have an instructor's guidance on specific techniques and/or skills that are proposed in the Lab's topic. You have the ability to sew at your own pace, the expert help to keep you on track and sewing along, and a variety of options (sometimes endless!) when it comes to choosing the project you want to sew.
