Make your very own pillowcase to spruce up your bedroom in this beginner and new-to-sewing friendly class, great for anyone starting on their sewing journey!
You’ll learn to use the “burrito method” to make a nicely finished pillowcase perfect for any standard sized pillow.
Be prepared - purchase your supplies online or in person before class begins! Class supplies are available for purchase at Modern Domestic. Please note that our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. Class supplies cannot be purchased when our shop is closed.
To purchase supplies in store, we recommend allowing at least 45 minutes to shop. Our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. If purchasing materials online, purchase supplies at least two days in advance to allow for prepping. All class supplies purchased at Modern Domestic get a 10% discount - please inquire for the code.
Supply List:
- ¾ yard of fabric a (main fabric)
- ⅛ yard of fabric b (accent fabric)
- ⅜ yard of fabric c (cuff fabric)
- 1 spool of Mettler Metrosene All-Purpose Polyester Thread (coordinating or color matching with exterior fabric is recommended)
*Skill Level: Learn to Sew & Up - You have never touched a sewing machine before or it has been years since you have. You know very little to nothing about sewing but you are eager to get started.
