Learn to Sew: Customized Collar (For Your Pet), Sunday, October 12th, 10am-12:30pm

Learn to make a collar for the furry friend in your life! No prior sewing experience is necessary. You will learn everything you need to know to thread the machine, construct your project, and customize your collar with decorative stitching on the machine! 

In class, you’ll learn how to create decorative top stitching. And you’ll walk away with enough knowledge to keep making collars for all the pets you know!

As with all Modern Domestic Learn to Sew classes, you’ll be able to come back for a complimentary session of Open Sew to make many more bandanas after your class is done. 

Be prepared - purchase your supplies online or in person before class begins! Class supplies are available for purchase at Modern Domestic. Please note that our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. Class supplies cannot be purchased when our shop is closed. 

To purchase supplies in store, we recommend allowing at least 45 minutes to shop. Our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. If purchasing materials online, purchase supplies at least two days in advance to allow for prepping. All class supplies purchased at Modern Domestic get a 10% discount - please inquire for the code.

- 1 spool of Mettler Metrosene All-Purpose Polyester Thread

- 2 yards of webbing (Make sure to match your webbing size with your Buckle Set, Slider, & D Ring.)* 

- 1 Buckle Set 

- 1 Slider

- 1 D Ring

*Pictured in the listing, is a 1 inch metal buckle, webbing, slider, and D ring. 

*Skill Level:  Learn to Sew - You have never touched a sewing machine before or it has been years since you have. You know very little to nothing about sewing but you are eager to get started.
