Learn to sew this fun and fit fanny pack! In this class, you'll learn how to thread and sew on our Bernina machines, install a zipper, buckles, & add a lining. This is a quick and easy class that teaches you all the basics needed to complete a beginner sewing project.
Be prepared - purchase your supplies online or in person before class begins! Class supplies are available for purchase at Modern Domestic. To purchase supplies online and pick up the day of your class, just select NE Alberta Store for pick-up. To purchase supplies in store, we recommend allowing at least 45 minutes to shop. Please note that our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm.
Supply List:
- 1/2 yard light to medium weight cotton (main fabric)
- 1/2 yard light to medium weight cotton (lining)
- 1 spool of Mettler Metrosene All-Purpose Polyester Thread
- 8" Zipper
- 2 yards of 1 1/4" webbing strap
- 1 1/4" Buckle Set
- 1 ¼” Slider
- 1/2 yard Fusible Fleece Interfacing
*Skill Level: Learn to Sew - You have never touched a sewing machine before or it has been years since you have. You know very little to nothing about sewing but you are eager to get started.
