Get ready for the holidays with this easy to sew fully lined stocking project. In class, you will learn techniques to create a fold over contrasting cuff and a loop for hanging. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of decorative stitching in our classroom BERNINA machines and add decorative stitches to your stocking!
Be prepared - purchase your supplies online or in person before class begins! Class supplies are available for purchase at Modern Domestic. To purchase supplies online and pick up the day of your class, just select NE Alberta Store for pick-up. To purchase supplies in store, we recommend allowing at least 45 minutes to shop. Please note that our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm.
Supply List:
- 5/8 yard Cotton fabric (exterior fabric)
- 5/8 yard Cotton fabric (lining fabric)
- 1 spool of Mettler Metrosene All-Purpose Polyester Thread
- 5/8 yard Fusible Fleece Interfacing
- ½ in Twill Tape
- Optional: One Decorative Button
*Skill Level: Learn to Sew - You have never touched a sewing machine before or it has been years since you have. You know very little to nothing about sewing but you are eager to get started.
