Learn to Sew: Quick and Easy Potholders, Friday, January 10th, 5:30pm-8:30pm

Class Length: 1 session, 3 hours
Protect your hands and your surfaces with a set of these adorable and super easy to make potholders. This class is perfect if you are wanting to practice using every quilter's favorite presser foot: the walking foot! You’ll learn how to piece them together with just a single seam, and how to use a walking foot to secure the layers together.
Be prepared - purchase your supplies online or in person before class begins! Class supplies are available for purchase at Modern Domestic. To purchase supplies online and pick up the day of your class, just select NE Alberta Store for pick-up. To purchase supplies in store, we recommend allowing at least 45 minutes to shop. Please note that our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm.
Supply List:
- Fabric: 5 fat quarters or ½ yard of 3 different
- ¼ yard of Insul-Brite
- 1 spool of Mettler Metrosene All-Purpose Polyester Thread (coordinating or color matching with exterior fabric is recommended)
- 1 yard of coordinating twill tape
*Skill Level: Learn to Sew - You have never touched a sewing machine before or it has been years since you have. You know very little to nothing about sewing but you are eager to get started.
