In this simple and fun learn to sew class you'll learn how to sew your own beanie with a serger! The beanie is the perfect accessory for the fall and winter, as well as a quick and easy handmade holiday gift.
This class is a great first introduction to working with knit fabrics and sergers. Students will learn serger sewing techniques, threading, and walk home with a completed beanie.
Be prepared - purchase your supplies online or in person before class begins! Class supplies are available for purchase at Modern Domestic. Please note that our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. Class supplies cannot be purchased when our shop is closed.
To purchase supplies in store, we recommend allowing at least 45 minutes to shop. Our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. - ¾ yd Tubular Ribbed Knit fabric
- 4 Maxi-Lock Serger Thread in a coordinating color
*Skill Level: Beginner Serger - Classes teach a specific skill or type of stitch on a serger. This skill level is for people who have used a sewing machine before and are getting comfortable with the basics, but are new to using a serger! You may have never used a serger, only used a serger once/twice, or it has been years since you have.
