10:30 Tech Talk
Join our lead technician, Gram Shipley, as he talks through the history of the locking stitch, BERNINA machines and what makes them special, shares his expert advice on taking care of your machine, then hosts a Q&A about machine care.
11:30ish Show & Tell
Walk our gallery of vintage machines and enjoy stories of each machine’s unique history.
12:30 Tech Talk (Take Two)

2:30 Speed Race - “Turn and Burn” Competition
Come to spectate or join in. In this sewing competition, the goal is to stitch the fastest! See if competitors can beat Patrick Loftus, one of our technicians on his favorite fast-sewing straight stitcher, the bernette b08!

- Can you sew the fastest? Each competitor will receive a 45 inch piece of fabric, that must be sewn selvedge to selvedge four times!
- We’ll supply the fabric, you supply the speed with your vintage machine!
- Interested racers that don’t have a vintage machine, we have a way for you to join in, please contact us!
- The race will run in 4 person brackets, so you can race your friends, with prizes along the way, and bigger prizes for those who advance!
- The fastest sewists will compete to advance to the final race against Patrick and the b08!
