Kids & Teens Sewing: Two Day Needle Book Class, Wednesday & Thursday, March 26th & 27th, 10am-1pm

Skill Level: There is no previous sewing experience required! We will cover sewing machine basics in class.

Calling all young sewists! Stitch-up your very own project out of your favorite fabrics! You will learn many fun sewing skills and sew on a BERNINA sewing machine. You’ll practice sewing important stitches and gain experience measuring, cutting, pressing, and at the end of class you will have a fun, handmade project to take home.

About the Project! 

This two-day class will provide plenty of time to customize the needle book to your liking: choose your favorite fabrics, create your own quilting designs, appliqué wool shapes and letters, add fun decorative stitches, and finish off the project with cute fabric “stamps.” In this class, you’ll learn how to quilt, create pockets, and add decorative shapes and topstitching. You’ll also learn how to sew by hand to finish your pin cushion after stuffing it. All class supplies are included in the cost of the class and will be chosen during the class with the Instructor’s support.
