Join us for an introduction to fabric! In this interactive, lecture-based class, we’ll learn how fiber is transformed into fabric and explore how fabric characteristics like weight, drape, and construction type influence the look and feel of your projects

Learn to sew an iconic (and practical) canvas tote, perfect for summer days at the beach or farmer’s market! You’ll learn machine basics. You will also learn how to topstitch neatly, create boxed corners, and manage bulky seams.

You’ll learn how to take your measurements, choose what size to sew, trace a pattern, and then modify it to fit your unique body and style. Teens of all genders with all body types are welcome.
