Celebrate the Halloween season with this ghastly quilt block! Learn some basic quilting techniques for making your very own ghost quilt square - finish as a wall hanging on its own, or keep making blocks to create a whole table runner or quilt!

In this single session class, you will learn how to cut fabric for quilting and piece your quilt block together with an easy method for creating half square triangles.

Be prepared - purchase your supplies online or in person before class begins! Class supplies are available for purchase at Modern Domestic. Please note that our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. Class supplies cannot be purchased when our shop is closed.

If purchasing materials online, purchase supplies at least two days in advance to allow for prepping. Supply List:

- 1 fat quarter for ghost body

- 1 fat quarter for background color

- 1 spool of Mettler Metrosene All-Purpose Polyester thread for piecing

- 1 fat quarter wool felt (Optional - for wall hanging)

Skill Level: Beginner- You’ve taken a class or two and are starting to get comfortable with the basics. You know what a seam allowance is, you’ve sewn a little on your own, but you still need a little help with remembering how to thread the machine and wind a bobbin. These classes usually have little if any homework to complete outside of class time. The prerequisite for any Beginner class is a Sew Basics class, Learn to Sew class, or equivalent. This skill level is not for people who have never used a sewing machine before.

Class Cancellation Policy: A cancellation more than 72 hours before a class start date receives a full refund or credit. A cancellation within 72 hours is non-refundable. No-shows forfeit any refund or exchange. We hold this class cancellation policy to ensure our teachers are compensated for their time, and other students waiting for spots in full classes are not missing class opportunities due to late cancellations.  Thank you for your understanding.
