Learn to Sew: Ornaments, Monday, December 21st, 5:30pm-8:30pm

Create beautiful handmade ornaments, perfect for a lasting gift. In this class, you will learn sewing basics to make an ornament you’ll always remember. 

Once you get started, you won’t be able to stop! This project is quick, fun, and perfect for a first time sewist. Sign up with a friend or your visiting family to make holiday memories! 

Be prepared - purchase your supplies online or in person before your class begins! Class supplies are available for purchase at Modern Domestic. Please note that our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm & Sunday, 11am-4pm. Class supplies cannot be purchased when our shop is closed. 

To purchase supplies in store, we recommend allowing at least 45 minutes to shop. If purchasing materials online, purchase supplies at least two days in advance to allow for prepping. All class supplies purchased at Modern Domestic get a 10% discount - please inquire for the code. 

Supply List:

- ¼ yard fabric (or 1 to 2 fat quarters) - quilting cotton, woven fabric, or cuddle.

- 1 spools Mettler Metrosene Thread

- 1 yard of twill tape, ribbon, or ric rac (for ornament hanger)

- 1 to 3 skeins of embroidery floss (this is optional for a decorational element)

Skill Level: Learn to Sew - You have never touched a sewing machine before or it has been years since you have. You know very little to nothing about sewing but you are eager to get started.

Class Cancellation Policy: A cancellation more than 72 hours before a class start date receives a full refund or credit. A cancellation within 72 hours is non-refundable. No-shows forfeit any refund or exchange. We hold this class cancellation policy to ensure our teachers are compensated for their time, and other students waiting for spots in full classes are not missing class opportunities due to late cancellations.  Thank you for your understanding.
