These napkins are the perfect finishing touch for a host. You will learn beginner skills in cutting, ironing and hemming to make you feel comfortable on your sewing machine. These napkins have mitered corners for fancy finish, perfect for the garden party season. This class makes two 16” square napkins, but we know you’ll definitely be whipping up more!
Be prepared - purchase your supplies online or in person before class begins! Class supplies are available for purchase at Modern Domestic. Please note that our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. Class supplies cannot be purchased when our shop is closed.
To purchase supplies in store, we recommend allowing at least 45 minutes to shop. Our store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. If purchasing materials online, purchase supplies at least two days in advance to allow for prepping. All class supplies purchased at Modern Domestic get a 10% discount - please inquire for the code.
Supply List:
- 1/2 yard of mid-weight cotton. Napkins work best with fabric that has no discernible right or wrong side. Recommend fabrics: Essex, Manchester or Kona

Skill Level: Learn to Sew - You have never touched a sewing machine before or it has been years since you have. You know very little to nothing about sewing but you are eager to get started.
