Kids (8-15 yrs) Summer Sewing: Checkerboard Quilt, Tuesday, July 14th & Wednesday, July 15th, 10am-1pm

Skill Level: There is no previous sewing experience required! We will cover sewing machine basics in class. 

Class Length: 2 Sessions, 3 hours each

Join us for this two-day class. Stitch-up your very own project out of your favorite fabrics! You will learn many fun sewing skills and sew on a BERNINA sewing machine. You’ll practice sewing important stitches and gain experience measuring, cutting, pressing, and at the end of class you will have a fun, handmade project to take home.

About the Project! 

Sew a checkerboard quilt to display on your wall or warm your toes! The finished quilt measures about 16” by 20” and is quilted with ties.  You'll learn how to cut, sew, and piece together fabric to make a unique quilt all your own.  All class supplies are included in the cost of the class and will be chosen during the class with the Instructor’s support.

*Please Note: We strictly adhere to our age level requirements. Students will not be able to attend class if they fall outside of our age requirement when class begins and will not be eligible for a refund or credit.  

Class Cancellation Policy: A cancellation more than 72 hours before a class start date receives a full refund or credit. A cancellation within 72 hours is non-refundable. No-shows forfeit any refund or exchange. We hold this class cancellation policy to ensure our teachers are compensated for their time, and other students waiting for spots in full classes are not missing class opportunities due to late cancellations.  Thank you for your understanding.
